about

First volume of the quadrilogy (released in 2001), Strinkadenn'Ys tells the story of Ys, city of paradoxes, in which Enora, the heroine follows an initiatory journey in search of herself. The physical album, in 25 x 26 cm format, is illustrated with a 48 pages booklet and tells (in French, Breton and Kabyle) the story on which the music is based: www.seven-reizh.com/strinkadennys/.

“Strinkadenn’Ys is the culmination of a dream that Seven Reizh had been caressing for a long time.
Seven Reizh wanted to make music with words and tell a story with music.
Strinkadenn'Ys would not have this color of Armorica without the Breton language. It was used freely, provided that, mixed with the music, it evokes climates and conveys emotions…
A country is defined by its language, its culture and especially by the will of its inhabitants to make it exist.
The road is still long and dangerous but the borders are gradually disappearing…
To stay alive the Breton language must be spoken, accept external contributions, create new words, exchange and exchange again…
Let you tell the story of Enora, carried by music, on the wings of the griffin…”
